Eat With Your Hands
On February 13th at the Lichen showroom, Annie Faye Cheng is presenting a special dinner in collaboration with the photographer behind @subwayhands, Hannah La Follette Ryan.
The 5-course, no-utensils affair will be prepared by Annie and shot by Hannah. Beverages are generously provided by our friends at Unified Ferments, included in the cost of the ticket.
A limited-run subwayhands zine will also be available for purchase with your ticket, or at the event for $18, featuring contributions from folks like Emilia Petrarca, Sasha Frere-Jones and New York Nico.

TRAИƧA Listening Session + Dialogue + Live Performance
A night to gather for intentional listening with iconic lights from the ever-expansive trans community: Ceyenne Doroshow (G.L.I.T.S) and Imara Jones (TransLash Media). Taja Cheek (L’Rain) joins this pair in conversation as the artist who incorporated interviews from the NYC Trans Oral History Project with Doroshow and Jones that appear in “People Are Small/Rapture,” a tribute to ANOHNI on TRAИƧA the album.
We'll hear selections from TRAИƧA and NYC Trans Oral History Project’s archive on RECORDAR by Deborah Garcia, a sound tower installation at Lichen NYC. We’ll also have the first ever public screenings of music videos for Sade Adu’s “Young Lion” and Lauren Auder’s “I Would Die 4 U” for the community to view together. Then we'll dive into a collective dialogue with our special guests, and close the night out with a live performance by MIZU, a cellist and composer featured on TRAИƧA.
Presented by Red Hot in partnership with Lichen NYC. RSVP at the link to attend.
