Pipistrello Table Lamp by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce

The Pipistrello table lamp was designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965. The lamp used new and innovative techniques for manufacturing methacrylate when originally launched. The conic base grows in height through the ribs that connect the lamp to the diffuser. The glazed stainless steel telescopic stem allows the table lamp to adjust its height from 66-86 cm (26” – 34”) / Please note theres some damage to the shade from the previous owner using too large a bulb.
